I used to think that dreaming is nothing but a shelter under which weak people hide when they face the cruelty of this world. I used to think that the dreamer is someone who choose to detach himself from the real life so as to enjoy his private dream that offers further dimension to make any stupid idea live. When I grew up, I felt that I was wrong. I misjudged dreams and the poor dreamers. I scorned Martin Luther king the biggest dreamer. I misjudged myself because I was a dreamer too.
To fulfil an aim you have firstly to taste its beauty. When you do so, there will be nothing in the world that can push you backward. To taste this beauty, there is no other easy way than having a quite moment with oneself in a free space and untie the imagination to reach the horizon.
Day-dreams are the first step for realizing a goal. This of course depends on the personality of the dreamer. The strong personality make the person spare no effort to realize it, whereas the weak tries to hide his in sand and try to satisfy himself through dreams. Bearing in mind that not any dream is realizable, I suggest that selecting one’s dreams is highly recommended. The dreams shouldn’t go beyond one’s abilities. It should logical.
Moreover, and this is the important part, have someone to share the dream with you, someone who really wants you to get it, someone that supplies you with hope when you fall in doubt. This is because up dating hope has a great effect on keeping dreams alive in hearts no matter how long.
Sharing a dream is not that easy at all. For this, you should both get the clear and the complete view of the dream before getting into action. We can share a dream only with people who believe in us. The worst dream destroyer you have ever to fear is the partner, especially if he or she is professional in nightmares.
As far as I am concerned, the terrible side of daydreams is when the dreamer spends the work time in dreams. As a teacher in a high school, I face this phenomenon all the time. I go mad when I see a student in class putting his/her hand on his/her cheek and fly out of the classroom. I know that it is natural because at this age the person reaches the summit of detachment with the real world and I feel sorry to disturb someone in his dream, but it is my job.
Dear dreamers, have faith in God and refresh your hope from time to time. Without hope the heart would break. And don’t devote all your life only to one dream. Have some sub-dreams so as not to have all the eggs in one basket.
